Tsuut’ina Police seeking public assistance with arson investigation

The Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance with an arson that occurred on the morning of Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

At approximately 8:05 a.m., TNPS, Tsuut’ina Nation Fire and Rescue, the Calgary Fire Department, and Redwood Meadows Fire Service responded to a structure fire in the area of 146 Avenue SW, located on Tsuut’ina Nation.

The fire was quickly brought under control. Following a joint investigation by Tsuut’ina Fire Investigation Services, Calgary Fire Department Fire Investigators, and TNPS, the fire has been determined to have been deliberately set and is being investigated as an arson.

TNPS is asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or observed individuals in the area between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on September 9 to contact police.
