Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service Seeks Public Assistance in Double Hit-and-Run Investigation

Tsuut’ina Nation, AB – The Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service (TNPS) is actively investigating a double hit and run that resulted in life-altering injuries to two pedestrians. The incident occurred on January 10, 2025, at approximately 8:20 PM, when a red 2003 Honda Accord struck two individuals as they were leaving the Grey Eagle Casino.


Both victims sustained serious injuries, with one still in hospital. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.


Thanks to information provided by the public, TNPS located the abandoned vehicle the following day, January 11, in the community of Langdon. However, investigators are still working to determine who was operating the vehicle at the time of the collision. At this time, police have made multiple attempts to contact the registered owner of the vehicle but have not yet been able to establish their involvement or whereabouts.


The registered owner has not reported the vehicle as stolen and has not cooperated or responded to police inquiries.


TNPS is now seeking additional public assistance. Investigators urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident, observed the red 2003 Honda Accord before or after the collision, or has any knowledge of the driver’s identity to come forward.
