Tsuut’ina Nation Police Seize Firearm, Drugs, and Cash During Traffic Stop
Tsuut’ina Nation, AB – In the early morning hours of March 25, 2025, officers from the Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service (TNPS) seized a loaded firearm, ammunition, illicit drugs, and cash during a proactive patrol in the Grey Eagle Casino parking lot.
At approximately 2:00 AM, TNPS officers conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm, several rounds of ammunition, and a quantity of drugs—including fentanyl and codeine—with an estimated street value of $1,000, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and face a total of 22 criminal charges related to drug possession, firearms offences, and other related violations.
