
On March 12th, 2026, TNPS commenced a Drug trafficking investigation on a male who has been a frequent visitor to Tsuut'ina Nation selling illegal drugs to vulnerable community members.
On May 12th, 2026, TNPS initiated a project to target the individual. With the support of the Alberta Sheriffs and Calgary Police Service, TNPS arrested Troy MORRISON, age 36, of Calgary.
MORRISON was charged with:
5(2) CDSA - Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
5(2) - CDSA Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl
Police seized crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, cell phones, cash and a drug ledger/debt list. Members subsequently executed a CDSA search warrant at his residence in the City of Calgary. During the search, police located a replica firearm, hydromorphone, drug packaging, and digital scales.

- 8.1 grams of cocaine
- 2.2 grams of fentanyl
- 288 Hydromorphone pills
- 166.1 grams of suspected cutting agent (to be analyzed)
