Tsuut’ina Nation, AB – On August 11, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service (TNPS) were conducting patrols in the parking lot of the Grey Eagle Casino when they identified a vehicle displaying a stolen licence plate.
Two occupants exited the vehicle as officers approached. Both fled on foot. Officers pursued the driver and successfully apprehended him after a short chase.
The driver was found to be the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for parole violations and was also breaching court-ordered release conditions. The second individual fled into Calgary but has since been identified. Warrants will be sought for their arrest.
